Climate change and environmental pollution growth have been a major concern for the world. So, to save the world, more sustainable and eco-friendly energy sources are searched. The hydrogen engine is one of those steps taken by the technology sector. It is an engine that uses hydrogen as a clean fuel source for generating power. Knowing the concept of hydrogen engines is necessary to understand how they are beneficial and their applications. If you are also the one who looks for innovative and revolutionary engine technology, then Ahiravata is one one-stop solution for you. We have innovative engine technology for both personal and industrial machinery. We are also at the forefront of promoting environmental sustainability.

About Hydrogen Power Engine
Hydrogen power is an engine that is a modified internal combustion engine (ICE) and runs on hydrogen fuel. It is also known as Hydrogen Internal Combustion Engines (HICE). As compared to traditional gasoline engines, which burn gasoline, they burn hydrogen. They are different from traditional engines on the ground in that they support cleaner transportation with zero carbon emissions at the point of use.
How Hydrogen Engines Work
The working of hydrogen engines differs based on the type of engine being used. Also, it is necessary to know the different components to understand how the hydrogen engine works. The first one is the hydrogen tank, which stores hydrogen fuel. Fuel injectors are the other components that are used to inject hydrogen fuel into engine cylinders. The next one is the ignition system, which is a spark plug to ignite the hydrogen-air mixture. The work of a hydrogen engine can be explained with the two processes.
Hydrogen Combustion Process
In this process, hydrogen is mixed with air and compressed in the engine’s cylinders. A spark plug then ignites the mixture. A controlled explosion occurs, which generates mechanical power. With the support of this power, the engine’s pistons drive and ultimately power the vehicle or device.
Hydrogen Fuel Cells Process
In a hydrogen fuel engine, a cell is there where both hydrogen and oxygen come together, which is also called the fuel cell. It is the place where an electrochemical reaction occurs. This reaction produces electricity, water, and heat. This generated electricity powers the electric motor. Water and heat which comes out are byproducts in the said process.
